Hon. Ms. Bariza Khiari is the socialist Senator of Paris, a member of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Armed Forces Committee of the Senate, the Chairwoman of the France-Lebanon Friends’ Group, and the Vice Chairwoman of the France-Morocco Parliamentary Friends’ group. She is a member of the French delegation at the NATO Parliament and is the promoter of a research committee in the Senate working on the defence of religious minorities. Her distinctions include Chevalier dans l’Ordre National du Mérite (Knight of the National Order of Merit) and Médaille du Tourisme (Tourist Board Award).
