Changing paradigms in a pandemic world – 2 million viewers from 90 countries to attend global summit on World Health Day

Brussels – 31 March 2021 – On the occasion of World Health Day, the Brussels-based foundation World Forum for Ethics in Business invites for a thought-provoking discussion on the ethical implications and consequences of the pandemic, the actions required to improve individual health and wellbeing in these unprecedented times, and will seek for a roadmap and best practices to scale-up ethics and values in physical and mental health efforts around the world. Themed “Changing Paradigms in a Pandemic World: How to regain trust? Health, Happiness & Ethics”, the event will take place as a virtual live-event on 7 April 2021 from 1 pm CEST to 7 pm CEST.
Through dedicated keynote panel discussions and interactive workshops, this event will bring together leading stakeholders from politics, business, academics and civil societies to challenge the status quo and seek answers for citizen’s to better navigate through the pandemic and the time to come. The conference will also examine tools and best practices to support citizens’ mental health.
In the spotlight of the discussions will be central topics such as aggression and depression – Mental health in the spotlight and how to address it, the ethical and moral leadership crisis revealed by the Covid-19 pandemic, a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, the threat of vaccine nationalism, the role of media, and the impact on sports. The program will also feature a dedicated discussion by pharmaceutical companies.
