Mr. Offord is a Member of Parliament and also a Member of the Association of European Parliamentarians with Africa (AWEPA) Governing Council of the United Kindom. Prior to becoming a Member of Parliament, Mr. Offord worked for the BBC as a political analyst and was also Deputy Leader of Barnet Council. As MP of Hendon, Matthew has been involved in wide range of issues in Parliament that include tackling crime on local streets, improvements to the Thameslink service, free schools, funding for extra school security, lower energy costs, animal welfare, and a referendum on membership of the EU.
