Congressman Quigley was elected to Congress to represent Illinois’ 5th District in 2009. A former Cook County Commissioner who began his career through community service in the Lakeview neighborhood, Congressman Quigley has served his community for more than thirty years. He has established himself as a leader on many of America’s most challenging issues. He continues to fight for full LGBT equality, a woman’s right to choose, and common sense gun law reforms. A member of the Sierra Club since he was 16, Congressman Quigley continues to push for strong environmental policies that protect our natural resources and address the growing threat of climate change.
